Choosing the right plug

To choose the right plug model for you , carefully check the port installed on your device, knowing that:
- The "Lightning" connector only applies to Apple products released since the end of 2012 (i.e. since the iPhone 5, iPod touch 5, iPod nano 7 and iPad 4).
- The "Type-C" connector is used on most devices (excluding Apple) released since 2017 and is recognizable by the reversible "flattened oval" shape of the plug. It is used on all Samsung smartphones since the release of the Galaxy S8 and Note8.
- The "Micro-USB" connector is vertically asymmetrical and can only be inserted in one direction. This is the old standard that applies to many digital devices sold before 2017.
